AssureBio is recruiting for a Head of Quality to join a UK-based pharmaceutical manufacturer delivering excellence in healthcare products. With an on-going transformation agenda, this role offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of Quality and elevate standards across the business.
The Head of Quality will lead a large-scale transformation project aimed at driving operational excellence and aligning the organisation with best-in-class industry practices.
This includes leading a multidisciplinary team across Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring Quality remains at the heart of the business strategy.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute the Quality vision, integrating it into the wider business transformation strategy.
- Operational Excellence: Host MHRA inspections, manage compliance projects, and ensure all Quality systems and processes meet GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Drive Transformation: Oversee and guide the Quality function through a major transformation project, ensuring seamless implementation of new systems, processes, and improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement forward-thinking strategies to enhance Quality KPIs, improve efficiency, and strengthen compliance frameworks.
- Inspire Change: Lead, develop, and empower an experienced team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
About you
- A visionary leader with extensive experience managing Quality teams in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Ideally, an eligible Qualified Person (QP) with an in-depth understanding of GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of driving transformation and leading change in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams at all levels.
- Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies and Quality system enhancements.
